An Exciting Adventure

So My flight to Puerto Rico was probably the most eventful traveling day ever. We had to leave for the airport at 4 and i was driving so i decided it would be best to not sleep at all the night before for a couple of reasons 1. If i fell asleep there would be a very good chance i wouldn't wake up at 4. 2.I was too excited i Probably wouldn't of been able to sleep if i tried. and 3. I wanted to be exhausted so i would sleep the whole way there. Anyways we got to the airport in plenty of time and everything went smoothly. We all boarded the plane and then just when we were about to take off they said that our flight would be delayed and hour and we could stay on the plane if we wanted. Shannon about that same time found out she parked her car that her sister was picking up in the wrong lot. So we ran of the plane had to talk to security ran out to the buses to get a ride to the economy lot. A security guy had called one of the buses and told it to wait for us. Which we had to run really fast too and it was quite a ways away. the bus driver skipped all his stops and took us straight to Shannons car. In the mean time we got a phone call from the other girls on the plane that said the plane was leaving 20 minutes earlier than they origianlly told us. it made us kind of nervous that we weren't going to make it. but We got her car parked in the short term parking and made it back up to the plane it time. We both stunk really bad and were really sweaty thank goodness no one sat by us on the plane. But because our flight was delayed we missed our connection. and had to go on a different flight which also got delayed. so Instead of arriving in Puerto Rico at 8:50 like we were suppose to originally we got there at about 10:40. we had a rental car ready but couldnt' get it because the car rental place was closed so we sat at the airport for awhile ;we did finally find our way to our condo though!! I LOVE PUERTO RICO!!! more to come....:)

Puerto Rico Here I come!

Last week i was out to eat with some friends and they jokingly said they were going to Puerto rico and asked if i wanted to come. And of course i wanted to, but unfortunately my client went on a two week vacation leaving me a little low on funds. So after joking about it a girl said she could find tickets for around $200 and i decided i would go even if money was tight it would be worth the money to see Puerto Rico. Turns out tickets were quite a bit more money and they went ahead and bought mine for me and let me know how much i owed them! It was a little stressful and i cried...literally. Fortunately I don't have to pay for lodging so that's good i guess...but since i am going and there isn't much I can do about it i've been getting pretty excited! And the girl that owns the condo there made up and Itinerary, which is kind of fun in it's self even though i don't do the greatest with set plans it will be fun since i have been on quite a few vacations and because i just went with the flow really didn't end up seeing much which is slightly depressing. Anyways after that tangent. The itinerary made me really excited. here are some of the things we will get to be doing; going to a rain forest, hiking, surfing, going to arts museums, seeing coliseums, and Eating really good fresh fruit:) Anyways I am really really excited about it. The other night at dinner mike said i might get kidnapped and held for ransom...so if that's the case i guess this is also goodbye and i love you all:)

The Wind Caves

with the nice weather i have been able to start hiking again which is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. On the way up we had an encounter with a rattle snake which scared me and i screamed and jumped off the path..so that was fun. When we got to the top it started raining which made it really pretty. When we went to leave we decided to take a different path which ended up having all kinds of cliffs and drop offs. It was quite the eventful Hike.

We all went to the park to enjoy the nice weather last week. As always it was a lot of fun. We took the kite and tried to get it up but there wasn't enough wind. So we just played on the playground and played a little Frisbee.

Whip Cream Anybody?

this happened while christopher and Emily were here but i think it deserves a post of it's own. While we were having Madalyn's birthday jello with Whip Cream JoAnna showed us an awesome game. you put whip cream on your hand and hit it and it flies up and you catch or try to catch it in your mouth. It was very very entertaining and even the very next night at ward prayer we had whip cream to go on ice cream and i got to show off my mad skills.

This weekend Christopher and Emily cam up with their boys. It's always a lot of fun when the whole family (well those within driving distance) gets together. It really made me excited for when Brian and LExie come to visit in a couple of weeks and the whole Family will be able to get together! During the weekend we celebrated Madalyn's birthday, Played at the park, found out how talented Dodger really is, Took mom Mother's day shopping, and went out for Ice cream. It was busy but a really fun couple of days!

Madalyn turned one on may 9th. Since she can't eat alot of foods she got a jello cake. Which she ended up loving to play in. She is so much fun and we are all so blessed to have her in our family. Love you Madalyn!
